Blue Mountain Christian University seeks applications and nominations for the 教育学院院长 beginning January 2025. The School of Education employs 4 FT faculty in addition to several adjunct faculty. 职责: Responsibilities for the 教育学院院长 are to have ultimate oversight of and accountability for administrative aspects of the operation of the School of Education, to represent the school and serve as its liaison with other administrative units within the University, and to provide leadership for the School in formulating long-range plans and assessment procedures based on a shared vision on the goals of the School. Responsibilities also include monitoring Mississippi Department of Education requirements for state approval of the BMCU teacher education program; leading CAEP accreditation for the School of Education; monitoring graduate student academic progress and communication with graduate students in academic jeopardy; communicating with graduate 顾问; monitoring admission of graduate students; and coordinating graduate student orientation.
资格: Earned doctorate in Education or related field (ABD considered), prior classroom teaching in elementary and/or middle school grades. Candidate must possess credentials in Literacy/Reading and in Elementary Education. Preferred: Prior teaching in a graduate degree program in Education.

International Student ag体育 Coordinator
基本功能:
The International Student ag体育 Coordinator provides significant support to the University's international students, as well as domestic students raised in other cultures.
职责:
- Work closely with international students, 国际转学生, their families and sponsors to provide guidance and support regarding all aspects of the admissions process, including obtaining lawful entry into the U.S. upon obtaining admission within the chosen programs of study;
- Serves as DSO and maintains the University's SEVIS information regarding international students.
- Communicates with international students the final procedures after the admissions process is complete and students are accepted;
- Remain current on the requirements for admission for both freshman and transfer of international students;
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships and serves as a point of contact for international students, 顾问, 和顾问;
- 严格保密, privacy and security of student records (FERPA) and other sensitive information according to applicable federal, 州及校规, 政策和程序；
- Ensure compliance with all standards, policies and guidelines;
- Lives a life congruent with the University mission both on and off campus;
